It seems that the two nannies that had pressed sexual assault charges against Rob Lowe were really just going after his money and although Lowe may have some slimeball tendencies, he doesn’t have seemed to have stooped to the lowest of the low. Not only did the two nannies drop their cases entirely but they also didn’t see much money coming their way either. From TMZ,

“The feud between Rob Lowe and his two scorned nannies is over — the second and final nanny suit against Rob has been settled.

Sides for both Lowe and Laura Boyce — who alleged she was a victim of sexual harassment by Rob’s wife Sheryl — have asked for the whole case to be dismissed.

No coincidence, we hear, that the dismissal comes after the judge ruled the Lowe’s could go after Boyce for violating the confidentiality clause in her contract.

As for how much money changed hands … we can’t tell you exactly, but here’s what we hear — Laura won’t be planning any expensive vacations any time soon.

The other suit — involving former nanny Jessica Gibson — will also be dismissed.”

It amazes me when people are so willing to go after big celebrities such as Rob Lowe and think that they will see no consequences or that nobody will question their side of things. I think that somebody who had actually been sexually assaulted and was willing to publicly go after their perpetrator wouldn’t really care so much about charges that involved them backing out on their contract. Clearly this was a case of two ladies who thought they had a great get-quick-rich scheme and didn’t think things all the way through.

Known for both her role in Ghost Whisperer and her fluctuating weight issues, Jennifer Love Hewitt has made headlines most recently with her split from Ross McCall and a quick hookup with Jamie Kennedy that at first screamed, “REBOUND!” but now may really be proving to be something more…but most likely, not. While Jennifer and Jamie may be very happy (they certainly have appeared to be for awhile now,) things may have taken an unexpected twist and the two might be expecting a baby soon…but most likely, not. The 30-year-old actress was spotted buying a pregnancy test at a CVS Pharmacy in Studio City, Calif., on April 29, even though she’s only been dating costar Jamie Kennedy, 38, since March.

“If she is expecting, then it was totally unplanned and would come as a shock,” says a friend of the couple. “Jennifer has always said she wants kids, but she was definitely thinking later rather than sooner.”

Adding to the speculation: Since her drugstore visit, Jennifer has been wearing lots of flowy, high-waisted dresses!”

Now I’ll take National Enquirer’s word before I start believing what Star Magazine has to say so before I even read the story, I knew that I would have to be taking it with a grain of salt. And it seems that more than one grain may be necessary. One, I don’t think that Jennifer would go out to CVS and openly buy a pregnancy test for the world to see. Stars have people to do those kinds of things, especially when it comes to an errand that could result in tabloid hell. Two, I don’t think that a current fashion choice is indicative of a pregnancy. So just for the record, this is the latest Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy rumor but it really, really, really doesn’t ring true.

I never thought I’d hear the words “diva” and “Emma Watson” in the same sentence. But new reports from Wales - where the next two installments of the Harry Potter series are being shot back-to-back - tell another story. Production staffers on the movie say that Emma has always been the “most testy,” but that it has gotten even worse for this movie and she’s been “more ofa pain than usual.” The “diva” title has been given to her because she shows up late, and is always complaining.

Of all the “Harry Potter” stars, Emma Watson always has been the most “testy,” according to a production staffer who has worked on most of the films based on J.K. Rowling’s super-popular novels about the famous boy wizard.

But word coming from Wales — where “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1″ is being shot (back-to-back with “Part 2″) — has the young actress being “more of a pain than usual.”

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and the rest of the cast “are a dream to work with,” said the source Wednesday, “But Emma is even more moody than usual. … She’s always complaining, showing up late and has upset both cast and crew members with her rudeness. … She’s really become a big diva. … Everyone’s sick of it.”

Well it seems that we have taken the low road with the whole Jon and Kate Gosselin scandal. When it was revealed weeks ago that Jon was caught having an affair with Deanna Hummel, he chose to deny it and hope that it all went away. Now that it hasn’t, he has turned the blame back on Kate, saying that she was actually the first to step out on the marriage. I have a general rule where I’m suspicious of cheaters so at first I was inclined not to believe this story and the fact that it comes from an anonymous source doesn’t help. But I don’t know. The relationship sounds much friendlier than just client/bodyguard and does seem to suggest that Kate may have found her happiness elsewhere. A long time ago, might I add. From US,

Since May 2008, Kate has made 50 public appearances, criss-crossing the country, often with Neild by her side, as Jon stayed home with the kids. Even when at home — whether at Starbucks or at restaurants — Neild has been a constant companion to Gosselin, who is estranged from her family and viewed in town as not having friends.

Meanwhile, Us has learned that Jon has had more public trysts with 23-year-old third grade teacher Deanna Hummel than first reported.”

Maybe at this particular event where Kate was showing more affection to someone that was on her payroll than she was to her husband, it was just a bad day for the two. It’s not uncommon for people to overcompensate with people they’re not angry with when someone they’re pissed at is in the same room. It’s petty and stupid but that is Kate after all. And she does always treat Jon like trash, there’s also no denying that. However if this is true, it shows that the marriage was in trouble long before Jon ever made eyes towards Deanna. Not that Kate’s cheating gives Jon the right to nor does Kate treating Jon like trash. If he doesn’t like it, he should have left and that’s that.

But it seems now that things have gone too far and Jon and Kate just won’t be able to see it through this one. And when both people have already quit and walked out mentally, there’s really no going back. So…I wonder what this means for the show. Will there still be a show? Will it be Kate Plus Eight one week and then Jon Plus Eight the other? Who knows but this couple has bigger problems right now than their television show. Most importantly, what’s going to happen to those 8 kids who have already had nothing close to a normal life and now have to live through their parents’ marriage problems? Who could have foreseen that something that was once such an ‘opportunity’ has now become their downfall? It’s really very sad.

In a new revelation, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the CIA of the United States and his country's ISI together created the Taliban.

"I think it was part of your past and our past, and the ISI and CIA created them together," Zardari told the NBC news channel in an interview.

In the interview, which was given to the NBC on May 7, Zardari also accused the US of supporting the military rule of Pervez Musharraf who was alleged to be taking sides of the Taliban.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has alleged that elusive Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was a US operator who had tried to destabilise his late wife Benazir Bhutto's government back in 1989.

In fact, as premier Bhutto had "warned America about Osama bin Laden in 1989 with a call to then US president George H. Bush", Zardari said on NBC's Meet the Press programme Sunday.
